The Felzer/Siegel Family of five from Rockville, MD experienced three European countries this summer in a 10-night stay. Their exciting trip began in Paris which included a timed entry into the Eiffel Tower for sunset views and museum passes to avoid long ticket lines. They also highly recommend a segway tour in Paris as a fun way to get acquainted with the city. From Paris, the high speed train took them to Lausanne, Switzerland with beautiful views along the way. On arrival, they picked up a rental car and stopped by the Olympic Museum which they highly recommend for sports lovers. It has a fabulous interactive exhibit. The trip continued to Montreux on beautiful Lake Geneva and then to Grindelwald in The Alps. The vacation finished up in Bellagio, Italy on Lake Como with a return home from Milan. This active family really enjoyed the freedom of exploring on their own by car and particularly enjoyed chocolate tasting at the Nestle factory, canyoning in Interlaken and the castle in Montreux. They stayed in variety of hotel accommodations, each with a unique flavor and comfortable rooms for three teens. Their favorite was in Grindelwald, the Hotel Spinne with its majestic views. Overall a busy trip with great experiences and adventures.
