Lindblad Returns to Iceland
Still searching for a unique summer getaway? Lindblad Expeditions recently added a series of voyages in Iceland. Both the 126-passenger National Geographic Resolution and the 148-passenger National Geographic Explorer polar vessels will explore the land of the midnight sun on two alternating itineraries, Wild Island Escape (6 days) and The Circumnavigation of Iceland (11 days). On both expeditions, your family will discover why Iceland is known as the land of fire and ice as you journey through the country’s fjords, tundra, waterfalls, and geothermal hot springs. The Iceland season will kick off shortly on July 7, 2021, with the six-day compact adventure to the remote fjords and volcanic isles along the country’s western coast. Starting July 11, the 11-day sailings will begin and showcase the magnitude of the country’s geological manifestations: glaciers, geysers, waterfalls, cliffs, geothermal springs, boiling mud pots, and lava-scapes. Children under age 18 save $500 and your bar tab and crew tips are included!

Note that you will also need to meet any travel requirements of the country where these ships depart. We can help you sort through the details. Bon voyage!
Uncruise Alaska Savings
The big ships may not be sailing Alaska this summer, but the small ships from Uncruise and others as well as private charters will be taking advantage of the resulting tranquility. Uncruise is offering $600 off per cabin on select accommodations for this May and June when you book by May 15. You can also combine the discount with their family savings of $500 per child (ages 8-17). Or gather a group of 12 or more and earn a complimentary cabin on select sailings while creating your own travel bubble! Note that the cruise line just announced that all adults must be fully vaccinated before sailing, but children 17 and under do not. Choose from a variety of in-depth Alaska experiences that last 7-14 nights on expedition ships that sail with only 22-86 passengers. Your cruise rate includes airport transfers, exclusive activities, shore excursions, and presentations with professional expedition guides. 2021 Cruise Ship Debuts
Despite uncertainty about cruising right now, more than 20 new cruise ships are still scheduled to debut this year. We are always excited to offer new ships that often come with fresh concepts and new bells and whistles. Some ships are arriving a little behind schedule due to COVID-related construction delays and others are being pushed back to start sailing in 2022; so not all start dates are firm. It will depend, in part, on when the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) clears cruise ships to begin sailing again in U.S. waters. But all ships are available for booking! Here is a list of the most family-friendly new cruise ships:
Mardi Gras (Carnival Cruise Line)
Apex (Celebrity)
Rotterdam (Holland America)
MSC Virtuosa and MSC Seashore (MSC Cruises)
Enchanted Princess (Princess)
Odyssey of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)
On the luxury front, we look forward to selling new ships from Viking, Ritz Carlton Yachts, Seaborn, Ponant, and Silversea for a pampered experience at sea. Call us for more details.
