Ready for skiing?  The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain in Colorado unveiled a Snow Guarantee program that promises no-penalty cancellations on early season vacations if the mountain reports less than a 19-inch base on the day prior to arrival. The guarantee is good on bookings through November 19 for stays between November 21 to December 13.  The Westin features a ski valet, a year-round outdoor pool, three hot tubs, a contemporary restaurant serving Latin cuisine and a spa and fitness center.  In other Vail Resorts ski news, Keystone Resort unveiled its Kids Ski Free program for the 2012/13 season, enabling children 12 and under to ski and snowboard for free daily without the usual blackouts on weekends and holidays.  To qualify, families must stay two or more nights at Keystone. There is no limit on the number of children per family.  The resort also expanded its Kidtopia program this season, which offers entertainment options like the self-proclaimed World’s Largest Snowfort, kids’ apres ski gatherings, parades and festivals and on-ice dance parties.
