Ritz-Carlton has reflagged the renovated the Hotel de la Paix located on Switzerland’s scenic Lake Geneva.  The 152-year-old hotel has 74 newly renovated rooms including a presidential suite named after former frequent guest Grace Kelly.  The hotel affords views of Mont Blanc and includes public-area tapestries depicting historic figures who have striven for peace (“paix” is the French word for peace), including Victor Hugo and Giuseppe Garibaldi. There are two new restaurants, a Philippe Pascoet chocolate shop named for the Swiss master chocolatier and gym. Their Family Package is available through December 31 and includes half off a connecting room for children, daily breakfast for two, rollaway and a special amenity for children.
